This privacy policy is applicable to the ONME app (hereinafter referred to as "Application") for mobile devices, which was developed by Ilie Burdîniuc (hereinafter referred to as "Service Provider") as a Commercial service. This service is provided "AS IS".

What information does the Application obtain and how is it used?

What information do users provide to the Application?

The Application may acquire information you supply when you download and use the Application. Registration with the Service Provider is not mandatory. However, some features may not be available without providing certain information.

The Service Provider may use the information you provide to contact you from time to time to provide important information, required notices, or support-related communications. Marketing emails are not required for using the Application.

This Application does not gather precise information about the location of your mobile device.

Image and Face Data (Virtual Try-On)

When you use the virtual try-on feature, you may choose to upload or select an image from your device. The image may include a person's face.

What face data does the app collect? The Application does not collect biometric identifiers and does not perform facial recognition. We do not create or store faceprints, face templates, or other unique biometric identifiers for identification purposes.

How do we use images that may contain a face? Images are processed only to generate the virtual try-on result requested by the user. Images are not used for identity verification, tracking, profiling, advertising, or analytics.

Do we share images or face data? We do not sell or share user-uploaded images or face data with third parties for advertising or profiling. Any processing is performed solely to provide the virtual try-on feature.

Does the Application use Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies?

Yes. The Application may use AI-assisted processing to provide the virtual try-on feature. The AI processing is used only to generate the try-on result from the image you provide.

  • Try-On Generation: The image you provide may be processed to generate a virtual clothing try-on preview requested by you.

  • No Identification: We do not use AI to identify you or confirm your identity, and we do not collect biometric identifiers such as face templates for recognition.

  • Purpose Limitation: Images are not used for advertising, tracking, profiling, or training models based on your identity.

Do third parties see and/or have access to information obtained by the Application?

Only aggregated, anonymized data may be periodically transmitted to external services to aid the Service Provider in improving the Application and their service (for example, purchase validation and app performance diagnostics). The Service Provider may share your information with third parties in the ways described in this privacy statement.

Please note that the Application utilizes third-party services that have their own Privacy Policy about handling data. The following is a list of third-party service providers used by the Application:

The Service Provider may disclose User Provided and Automatically Collected Information:

What are my opt-out rights?

You can halt all collection of information by the Application easily by uninstalling the Application. You may use the standard uninstall processes as may be available as part of your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace or network.

What is the data retention policy and how can you manage your information?

Images used for virtual try-on: Images you upload or select for the try-on feature are processed temporarily to generate the result and are deleted immediately after the try-on result is generated. We do not store uploaded photos or face data long-term.

Other data: The Service Provider will retain User Provided data for as long as you use the Application and for a reasonable time thereafter. The Service Provider will retain Automatically Collected information for up to 24 months and thereafter may store it in aggregate.
